About : In his workproces Klaas is acting more like an inventor than a designer, this gives him a different, new look on material, technique and productionproces. It brings him endless possibility, which, in combination with his designing qualities, makes him a innovative designer, which shows in his products. On a frequent base Klaas is working in collaboration with initiators, fellow-designers and factories which use interesting production methods.

The glass collection is the result of te ‘bottles’ research.
Collection of containerbottles, measuring cups, oil & vinigarbottles, sprinklebottles and glasses.
Molecule lamp
Inspired by the complex construction of molecules.
Vacuumformed from foam, the lamp gives of a subtle shine.
Birdhouse – Graduation work
Nowadays birds are not welcome under rooftiles anymore, so they lost a beautifull nest place.
Placing a house on top of a rooftile, now created a nice place for a birdsnest.
And also better to spot!

The Birdhouse – Graduation work design is good, but cat’s will not allow to breed birds in this birdhouse, coz it’s fully reachable to cat’s.

Hebben jullie een oplossing tegen katten?
De kans dat eitjes worden uitgebroed en de vogeltjes opgroeien en overleven is klein.
Dit is een echt probleem, ze kunnen nu gewoon bij het huistje zitten wachten tot ze een lekker hapje hebben
