Nouvelle collection 2010 Cones Series par la designer espagnole Marre Moerel qui a imaginé et décliné ces luminaires à partir de la forme du cône.
À propos de la collection : « Through experimentation and manipulation she has arrived at several objects with very different forms and functions. At first – previously shown at NOW! Last Sept.- there was ‘Mount Olympus’, the conical shaped set of 3 different sized votive candleholders, intended as a graphic visualisation of the classic, mythological Greek mountain range. From the basic Cone shapes Moerel then developed the ‘Diamond Lights’ – a new series of pendant and wall lamps-, by joining 2 cone shapes at their base and cutting into the newly created Romboid. Resulting were 3 different models (1 vertical pendant , 1 horizontal pendant and 1 vertical pendant lamp) in 3 different sizes (51cm, 65cm, and 85cm), each with their own distinct identity and feeling; the vertical pieces have a more classic feel, while the horizontal ones have a definite futuristic resonance. Further intuitive experimentation lead to the exclusive ‘Monja’ Series (spanish for ‘nun’). »
