Cinderella’s Revenge (la revanche de Cendrillon) : quoi de plus joli que le nom donné à cette suspension théâtrale, telle un autel érigé à la gloire du soulier féminin… Imaginée par Fiona Gall pour Esmerald Faerie, elle est installée dans le corner des chaussures pour femme, chez Liberty à Londres.
« Designer behind the Emerald Faerie bespoke lighting collections, Gall was inspired by the haute couture shoes creations by Terry De Havilland. Gall’s latest work of sculptural lighting and fiber optic illumination is an interpretation of De Havilland’s oeuvre, echoing the glamour of his materials, the shape of the 7-inch heels and the tools used in the process. The effect is highly theatrical. How can it not be, with an 8-ft drop? De Havilland returned the compliment of this homage by designing a pair of shoes to be included in Cinderella’s Revenge, with heels covered in gold and silver iguana skin, forming the apex of the chandelier. A cascade of tubular glass, metallic chain, Swarovski crystal and miniature magnifying glasses are among the details of the magnificent piece. A train of luxuriously covered heels trails along the floor, with light fading from the tubular glass fringes. Cinderella’s Revenge has just been installed in the women’s shoe department at Liberty’s in London and will be the subject of four film shorts by Catherine Taylor. »

……….Je veux tout simplement dire que ce luminaire est sublime, superbement théatralisé et merveilleusement mis en scène………..à la fois inquiètant et décadant. Inquitétant car il me fait penser aux espèces de sentinelles dans le film Matrix……..Glamour comme une robe de Diva……Lumineux comme une méduse sous l’océan…………Glacial comme une douche de métal……le tout majestueusement servi par une photo qui en accentue le délire et le surréalisme……….
Certains trouvent débile de faire des commentaires su style « J’aime / J’aime pas »….mais dans ce cas de figure j’exprime ce que je ressens…..
et moi j’aime.
Pourquoi tout à coup ces chaines me font penser à une histoire de « toi » d’après le roman de Réage????????
