« The Acapulco chair is a classic Mexican chair. It takes its name from the famous Pacific resort. In the 1950s, when the chair first went into production, Acapulco was the Hollywood hot spot. John Wayne, Elvis, and the Kennedys lounged on sunny terraces overlooking the Acapulco bay … / … A time when bankers were corrupt and American gangsters were the heroes, hiding out in glamorous bungalows along the Mexican coast. We designed the BamBam table to evoke those days of danger and excitement, of Dillinger and Capone. »
